100% pure orange juice: from the fruit tree to your glass!
Many people start their day with a glass of 100% pure orange juice at breakfast for both its delicious taste and nutritional properties that benefit health.
The more curious among us have surely wondered: just what exactly is in 100% pure orange juice?
The answer is simple: all our 100% pure orange juices, whether or not they are made from concentrate, are made of oranges only.
From the tree…
As orange trees would not survive our climate, the oranges we use in our juices are grown mainly in Brazil and Florida. They are then carefully washed and pressed on-site to obtain the freshest juice. This is the same process many use at home, but on an industrial scale.
The orange juice is then pasteurized and transported to our facilities by sea in refrigerated containers. In order to help preserve the delicious juice flavour, its pulp, essential oils from the peel and natural flavours are separated naturally; then reincorporated during final assembly.
The best taste
Our objective is for each glass of orange juice you enjoy at home, at work or during your leisure time to taste as much like freshly picked fruit as possible.
Our best ally in preserving the original fruit flavour is… cold. From its initial extraction to its arrival at our facilities, the 100% pure juice is kept at temperature no higher than 1° Celsius.
In order to keep your favourite orange juice tasting great at every glass – not too tart, with more or less pulp – we test and assemble our various juices as soon as they reach our facilities.
As for orange juice made from concentrate, we removed part of the juice’s water content prior to shipping. During the packaging phase, we add only water back.
To your glass!
Your orange juice was assembled, much like a good wine, to give it the flavour you’re looking for. At the end of the day, we put out a product that’s always delicious and made with only one ingredient… oranges.
