Lassonde named finalist in two Mercuriades categories
Lassonde Industries Inc. is among the finalists for the 2026 Mercuriades in the High-Performance Manufacturing Company and Technological Innovation categories.
This double nomination recognizes the company’s manufacturing performance as well as its capacity to innovate, notably through the implementation of a new multi-format aseptic line at one of its Rougemont plants in 2025. This investment of over $10 million enables Lassonde to produce concentrates in bags ranging from 4 to over 2,000 litres on a single line, to meet the evolving needs of the institutional, industrial and fast-food markets in North America.
Founded over 100 years ago, Lassonde has enjoyed sustained growth in recent years, thanks in particular to acquisitions and the expansion of its production capacity in Canada and the United States. This nomination reaffirms the company’s place among businesses that actively contribute to Québec’s economic vitality through their performance, adaptability and long-term vision.
The winners will be announced on May 11, 2026 at a gala event organized by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
