MARK A. MCNEIL APPOINTED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF CLEMENT PAPPAS AND COMPANY, INC.
Rougemont, Quebec, October 25, 2013 – Lassonde Industries Inc. (TSX: LAS.A) (“Lassonde”) Jean Gattuso, Chairman of Clement Pappas and Company, Inc. and President and Chief Operating Officer of Lassonde Industries Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark A. McNeil to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Clement Pappas and Company, Inc. (“CPC”). The appointment is effective on November 11, 2013.
Mark A. McNeil holds a degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. He is a seasoned executive and was until recently Senior Vice President Category Management at a large US foodservice distributor. He also held senior positions at Weston Foods Canada and Loblaw Companies Limited.
“We are pleased to welcome Mark to the Clement Pappas and Company team,” said Jean Gattuso. “His leadership qualities and outstanding track record in the food industry will enable CPC to continue to grow and prosper.”
Current CEO, Clement David Pappas, will remain with the Company and transition to the role of Special Advisor. He will also retain his shares in the Company along with his seat on the Board of Directors of CPC.
