Lassonde: proud Canadian roots
Lassonde launches a number of marketing initiatives specifically designed to highlight and promote its Canadian roots.
A campaign highlighting Canadian beverage brands
Since March 15, Canadian beverage brands Oasis, Fruité, Kiju, Rougemont, SunRype and Allen’s have cosigned the “Canadian to the core” campaign. Reminiscent of Lassonde’s heritage, the campaign highlights what distinguishes the company founded in Rougemont, Quebec: delicious, locally made beverages under brands that Canadians love.
Oasis: a proud Canadian brand
The Oasis juice brand is also promoting that choosing Oasis means choosing a Canadian brand that bottles all its products in Canada. Did you know that when you choose Oasis 100% non-concentrate orange juice, you’re choosing an orange juice bottled in Rougemont, Quebec, made from delicious oranges from Brazil?
Canton: home-grown products
Canton, the brand of soups, broths and fondue sauces, is reminding consumers where its products come from, with a display that includes the Aliments préparés au Québec logo.
These initiatives are the fruit of a colossal team effort to showcase the excellence of Lassonde’s Canadian beverage and specialty food products across Canada. After all, it all began with one enterprising couple, Aristide Lassonde and his wife, Georgianna Darcy, and their dream of helping local farmers make use of their surplus crops.
Today, in addition to fruit drinks, Lassonde produces specialty food products such as pasta sauces, fruit snacks and cranberry sauce. The company also produces apple cider and cider-based beverages in Canada, and imports and markets selected wines from many countries, including Italy, Spain and Australia.
